Hornby's new die-cast range of locomotives under its revived retro 'Dublo' brand have us in awe. At long last, a range of ready-to-run locomotives from a manufacturer capable of hauling more than most kit-built locomotives.

Its latest arrival with us, (R3973) A4 4-6-2, 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley in BR green early crest has been reviewed for the June 2023 issue of BRM by one of the LNER's greatest fans, Tony Wright. Testing the locomotive on its true home turf – his OO gauge 'Little Bytham' layout proved too great an opportunity to miss. Luckily, we filmed it for you to enjoy, and the locomotive's performance was flawless.
