Making Tracks takes WOR/BRM/RMweb award

As Making Tracks 3 takes place at Chester Cathedral, the same team behind its last creation – Making Tracks 2 were awarded the silver Layout of the Year Award, revealed during the London Festival of Railway Modelling at Alexandra Palace.

Visiting the 'Railnuts' team, headed by Pete Waterman OBE at Chester Cathedral last weekend was Lawrence Robbins of The Model Railway Club. The award was presented to Pete during a brief presentation, as the finishing touches were being applied to the layout during setup.

Setup afforded the opportunity to take numerous photographs of the impressive layout, which is now open to visitors at the Cathedral until September 2.
