Rails reveals exclusive Caledonian Railway 'Single' 4-2-2 locomotive

This new edition is presented in this exquisite Caledonian Railway lined dark blue colour scheme and features the CR dark blue livery, as carried by the locomotive during the pre-grouping era. During this period, the locomotive carried a different boiler, which is not featured in the Rapido tooling suite – hence it is described as a “what if”. The model is physically different to Rapido's other light blue model of No.123, making it a completely unique variant. 

Unique tooling variations on the Dark Blue model includes an 8-point smokebox dart backer, later standard type buffers with plain housing and external pipework on the left-hand side of the tender along with a high tender rear backplate. 

Available to pre-order now on the Rails of Sheffield website, the exclusive model is currently offered with a 10% discount, priced at £224.95 DCC Ready and £324.95 DCC Sound.
