The model Railways section of the auction always gathers much interest and many lots saw some ferocious bidding.

The O gauge section sold well, with mixed lots receiving a lot of interest. Lot 379 was an unboxed collection with locomotives and wagons, plus a range of boxed kits, wagons, controllers, track and accessories, and sold for £950.

The OO gauge Bachmann section sold very well too, with mixed collections and stand-alone items being popular with bidders. Lot 407 included OO gauge coaches generally mint in mostly very good to near mint boxes with Crimson/Cream (15), Chocolate/Cream (32), Maroon (44), plus a range of wagons (14). This lot sold for £2,000.

This auction also had a wide selection of OO gauge kit-built DJH models in the auction. All of the lots in this section sold and they were professionally built and painted. Lot 449 featured a K62 4-6-2 LNER lined green City of Durham 2403 locomotive and tender and sold for £180.
