Trainsporters, is dedicated to the supply of rolling stock and locomotive storage and transportation, that is all we do!  We have tried to make that as simple as possible, with the highest quality components, from the best of the UK’s manufacturers.

Background of the company

Mark is the Chairman of Hillingdon Railway Modellers and often supports the exhibiting of its O gauge club layout, Grindley Brook.  When he first started on the Exhibition circuit, he and two of the other Club members, could see the time it was taking to unpack the stock, create the formations for Grindley Brook and the even longer time it was taking to repack the stock at the end of the show.  This involved finding the correct manufacturers boxes to go along with the correct models, which could take an absolute age.  Having seen other examples of storage, Mark and his two partners, collectively known as “The Box Boys”, a name given to them by the Guildford O Gauge Group at one of their open days!  Decided to design a solution that would work for the Club’s members, and the rest as they say is history.  We now also support OO Gauge and are actively involved in bringing solutions for other scales to market.  We attend many exhibitions each year with our Trainsporters stand and would love to meet customers and fellow modellers at those events.
