Howard Smith opens and comments on a selection of new arrivals from Hornby's highly-regarded Skaledale buildings and accessories range.
Hornby's Skaledale range for 4mm:1ft scale (OO gauge) has seen considerable investment for 2023, with many new products added to its line-up. Until recently, we've seen some of its smaller arrivals, but now, a number of hefty structures have arrived with stockists.
It can be difficult to ascertain the realism of models inside a closed box, so, in a bid to show you more of the new range, Howard Smith picked this selection, and shares his initial thoughts in the video, below:
Overall, a very impressive range of additions, requiring little to no improvement for most layouts. With more detail through 3D-moulded relief to walls and roofs than a card kit, modellers can spend more time adding the smaller details that often bring a model scene to life. Recommended.
