Ahead of the review for the December 2023 issue of BRM, Howard Smith provides a quick tour of the features on Hornby's latest pioneer-era rolling stock.
There are two new arrivals in the office from Hornby – a (R60164) triple-pack of LMR coal wagons, and a (R60166) triple-pack of LMR horse wagons. Each somewhat niche for what could be deemed 'mass-market' sales in 4mm:1ft scale/OO gauge. Nevertheless, following its release of Lion 0-4-2T, we've seen a small selection of follow-up rolling stock announced as part of the manufacturer's 2023 range.
