Warners Shows has confirmed that the National Festival of Railway Modelling, due to take place this December, will not go ahead this year.

Fondly known as ‘The Peterborough Show’, and a staple in the model railway calendar during the lead up to Christmas, the event was due to take place across the weekend of December 5/6, 2020.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the sponsors, exhibitors, layouts, societies and visitors who have supported the show for a number of years. Dates for the 2021 event will be announced in the new year.

Because of the Covid-19 outbreak, many of the shows of 2020 – including our own at Alexandra Palace and now at Peterborough – haven’t taken place. Exhibitions are one of the cornerstones of our hobby and, although we can’t change the cancellation of events, we have recently announced that our virtual show is set to return across the weekend of November 7/8, backed by popular demand.
