I completely agree, and having seen other new models with these lights they are far too bright. Can they be dimmed or removed??

The Hornby Caprotti is more than welcome. When these locos were built they had the miniscule, cube shaped, black coloured electric lights - much like their contemporary LNER prototypes, but lost them much sooner. Who at Hornby decided it would look best with those ridiculously over-scale, white, almost 0-gauge lamps on the front?
