Revolution Trains has opened pre-orders for its much-anticipated Class 375, 377 and 387 ‘Electrostar’ family of Electric Multiple Units in N gauge.
Revolution is offering versions in Southeastern, Southern, First Capital Connect/Thameslink, GWR, Great Northern and Gatwick Express (branded and rebranded) to give modellers a wide variety of options.
The models feature illuminated destination blinds, directional head and tail lights (which can be switched off for multiple working) and full interior saloon lighting using switches hidden below magnetic roof panels. Where appropriate, pantograph and forward-facing camera lights are also fitted.
DCC users also have working Central Door Locking lights and kinematic power couplers ensure only a single Next-18 decoder is required. Realistic cosmetic couplers are included along with working couplers for multiple working.

About the prototype
The prototypes have been in service for a quarter of a century and are the most populous units on the network with nearly 500 four-car sets in service.
They are in use on commuter trains radiating from London to Kent, Sussex, Surrey and across the Capital to Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire, as well as large parts of the Southern Coastway route.
Great Western mainline electrification has also seen them used services from London to Bristol and Cardiff.
Early Class 375 and 377 variants featured ribbon glazing and are a mix of third-rail and dual voltage; later Class 387 designs have gasket glazing and are all dual voltage.
