Revised Flangeway 'Salmon' wagons arrive with retailer

Footplate of Kidderminster has taken delivery of revised Flangeway 'Salmon' wagons following retooling to the full 60ft scale length. The now correct scale-length wagons are available from the retailer in olive green, engineers' yellow and engineers' black liveries. Models are held at pre-pandemic prices.

Customers who held on to their under-scale models have received replacements and the remaining stock is available for sale in limited numbers from Saturday, June 4 at 09.00.

Richard Barnett of Footplate said, “We are pleased that we have been able to work with our partner, Dapol, to bring about a resolution to the issues that appeared in 2020. It has been a long journey; however, we are happy now to release the item to the true scale length following rectification.”
