RAILstuff, the model railway scenery and accessories specialist, invites enthusiasts of all ages to its first-ever Open Day on Saturday, December 6th.
Held at Stramshall Hall, Uttoxeter, Staffordshire (ST14 5DL), the event offers visitors an opportunity to browse the RAILstuff range, with free entry for all attendees. Throughout the day, guests can enjoy demonstrations, a selection of small layouts and dioramas on display, plus a chance to meet some “Friends of RAILstuff”.
Highlights include;
- Dan Evason will be doing painting demonstrations and will have a small selection from the Tunnel Lane shop available
- Tom Foster will be demonstrating his weathering skills
- Tom Marshall from Buggleskelly Station will have a unique collection of his dioramas and best-known work to look at
- Richard Watson of New Junction will be in attendance with a layout of his own
- Jonathan Scott will be demonstrating building and painting of JSModels laser-cut kit buildings
- The Wagon Yard shop will be offering a selection of rolling stock and locos
All visitors will also receive free entry into a prize draw to win model railway products and accessories, with winners announced during the event.
RAILstuff founder, Adam said; "This Open Day is a chance to share what RAILstuff is all about - helping modellers at every level find the tools and inspiration they need. I’m really excited to have some of our best model railway friends there too."
