A surprise arrival in our office sees Howard Smith take a first look at these all-new locomotives for OO gauge. Read the full review in the December 2022 issue of BRM.
New for 2022, re-tooled to be loaded with detail, and in an all-new redesigned quality box – that we hope will be used for future locomotives from the manufacturer – an initial glance at Hornby's latest RTR locomotive for OO gauge yields very positive results. With promising looks, and a punchy weight that should provide very useful haulage capabilities, Hornby's 9F is a locomotive that I can't wait to research further for its full review.
