A new triple-pack of weathered china clay wagons from Bachmann and Bulleid diesel No. 10201 in BR green livery with late crest arrive with the retailer.
Kernow Model Rail Centre has taken delivery of two new exclusive models.
Produced by the model shop, the second batch of its much-praised Bulleid diesels are now in stock. This latest version (K2705) Bulleid diesel No. 10201 in BR green with late crest is based on the London Midland Region period of operation in 1959 which saw this and its sister locomotive No. 10202 - also available in this batch from Kernow - used mainly between Euston and the West Midlands on express and stopping passenger services. This variation follows the repaint into BR green but prior to the addition of the cab connecting doors. The model features a 21-pin decoder socket.
Previous exclusive models of Bachmann's China Clay for Kernow Model Rail centre have sold quickly and the newly-announced triple wagon pack with flat tarpaulins (33-080T Bachmann OO Gauge 5-plank Clay Open Wagon Triple Pack) are the best seen to date. When the hoods are removed the quality of the mixed tampo and spray weathering finish can be seen. Each wagon has an individual finish and numbering (B743125, B743610 and B743004) over the bauxite finish. Visit the website for more pricing and more details on both these models.
