Model Rail Scotland has welcomed Heljan and KATO Europe as show supporters in the lead-up to the 2025 event.
Model Rail Scotland is well known for being the biggest event of its kind in Scotland, but has been gaining wider national acclaim over the past decade. With ‘O’ gauge layout ‘Eastfield’ featuring prominently in the 2024 show, Heljan stepped forward with a view to taking a full-time supporter role. This has flourished with the addition of KATO Europe, drawing in decades of world-class product knowledge and support in the global N gauge market.
The two new show supporters join other well-known brands Hornby, Bachmann Collectors Club, Graham Farish, PECO, Railway Modeller, Irish Model Railways and Accurascale.
Exhibition Manager, Ian Porteous, commented: “This growing support from the country’s top manufacturers and within the hobby is pleasing to see and our visitors tell us they really enjoy the show and appreciate the chance to meet the companies who supply their modelling products.”
Publicity Manager Colin Rae added: “The array of show supporters, our other specialised trade, and, of course, our layout exhibits make our event in Glasgow an unmissable attraction for those local to the event and many others travelling from further afield.”
Model Rail Scotland 2025 takes place at The Scottish Event Campus in Glasgow from February 21st to 23rd, 2025. All the latest news can be found on our website www.modelrail-scotland.co.uk.
