Mini-exhibition planned at Severn Valley Railway

With six layouts and trade confirmed, a group of modellers is organising an O gauge gathering at the heritage railway's in September.

The Severn Valley Railway's group of O gauge modellers is to organise a gathering for the public at the heritage site's Engine House, located at Highley on September 4 and 5. The Bewdley MPD group's 'Burlish Road', the award-winning 'Ventnor West', Dan Evason's 'Little Burford', 'Willowbrook Marsh' and 'Treloar Sidings' are all confirmed.

The organisers have said that "an impressive set up of coarse scale trains is planned, along with a diorama of Bridgnorth Station from the Bridgnorth station team". Traders booked so far include Modelu, Connoisseur Models and Walsworth Models.

The event has been put together at no cost to the SVR, thanks to the layout owners for offering their layouts free of charge. Due to limited parking at Highley, it is strongly advised to use the train to get to Highley.
