Howard Smith discovers more about the work that goes into manufacturing kits by one of Britain's best-loved model manufacturers.
Produced in their thousands, and seen on layouts nationwide, and around the world, the many different card kits and evolution of Metcalfe Models is a great manufacturing success story, born in Yorkshire.
We visited its base to tour the factory for the Spring 2023 episode of World of Railways TV, available to World of Railways Plus (or BRM) subscribers.
