109 in Highland Railway Drummond II Green is a simplified livery, which was worn from 1916 to the grouping of 1923. This livery also marks the war service of these locomotives hauling heavy trains between Perth and Inverness and beyond, supplying the Royal Navy fleet at Scapa Flow during WW1.
