The manufacturer distributes pre-production sample images of its forthcoming Co-Co RTR models for O gauge.
Dapol has taken delivery of first engineering prototypes of its Class 66 for O gauge. Currently under review, by its design team, the manufacturer has said "it is looking a very impressive model", though states that the model is subject to modification and improvements before models enter production. Artwork is said to be under evaluation by its design team at present, and has yet to be revealed. The original specification of the models can be read here. It is anticipated that models will be delivered in 2022.
Roof detail on these samples looks impressive, with a high level included inside the cab interior too, including an illuminated dashboard.
Detailed bogies feature rotating axlebox covers.
