Popular wagon, vehicle and lineside plastic kit range saved, with moulds purchased by Phoenix Precision Paints, and Cambrian Model Rail.

Most of the former business of Cooper-Craft (trading as Paul Dunn) has been saved. Encompassing the range of 4mm:1ft scale wagon, vehicle, and lineside moulds, and 16mm scale wagon and lineside moulds, the business also retailed the Kirk and Mailcoach 4mm:1ft scale coach kits. Cambrian Model Rail and Phoenix Precision Paints issued a joint statement that the business had been sold, mid-December 2022.

The Cooper-Craft 4mm:1ft scale wagon, vehicle and lineside moulds and 16mm scale wagon and lineside moulds have been acquired by Cambrian Model Rail, with the Kirk and Mailcoach 4mm coach kits acquired by Phoenix Precision Paints.

A statement on the Cambrian Model Rail website read, “Cambrian Model Rail Limited have now completed the purchase of the Cooper-Craft Moulds. As part of the purchase, we also have the rights to the Cooper-Craft brand and the website. We have not purchased any part of the business formerly run by Paul Dunn and trading as Cooper-Craft. Any queries regarding transactions on Cooper-Craft kits before December 11, 2022 still need to be addressed to Paul Dunn at the old trading address given on the contact page.
