The winner of the latest round our Cake Box Challenge with the theme "Industry" has been announced.

The competition asks modellers to build a scene including two railway items that will fit in an eight-inch square cake box. Each round has a theme and for the end of 2019, we chose "Industry". Within these guidelines, the entrants enjoyed free reign.

After a vote on RMweb, the winner is:

In his entry, Chris explained that he wanted to model the human aspect of Industry, where the people lived.  The model is based on South Wales and the thousands of identical stone terraces spread across the valleys and beyond.

Chris wins £100 of Humbrol products and a OO gauge Janus shunter from Golden Valley Hobbies, and we are grateful to both companies for supporting the competition.

The full selection of entries can be seen on RMweb.
