Model railway retailer and spares specialist acquires the inventory of Dapol spare parts from DCC Supplies.

Peter's Spares Ltd has purchased the stock of Dapol spares from Dapol's service provider, DCC Supplies. The north east retailer carries a wealth of spare parts from other model railway manufacturers, in addition to tooling for parts no longer available from other manufacturers.

Its latest acquisition sees more 2,200 Dapol OO, O and N gauge spares arrive with the retailer from DCC Supplies. Peter's Spares is said to be working through the different spares and adding stock to its website. With the number of parts to count exceeding 188,000, and in the process of being photographed, the retailer has suggested customers email or call to leave details of parts required.

DCC Supplies is said to be changing its business operations to focus on being a Service and Training Centre, retaining a small supply of spares to enable repairs and warranty work to continue.

Peter's Spares recently revamped its store front with new uPVC doors and windows across its three properties, adding images and signage.
