With the first samples to emerge of Accurascale's Mk. 5 coaches in Trans-Pennine Express and Caledonian Sleeper variants, Andy York takes a closer look at the last-mentioned of these.
Following on quickly from sharing images of its engineering prototype samples for its Mk. 5 'Caledonian Sleeper' coaches, which are said to be undergoing assessment by the manufacturer's design team, we've been given an exclusive preview of the physical models for an overview.
Andy York examines both its Trans-Pennine Express and Caledonian Sleeper models to identify tooling details and etched brass components that we can expect on models, with deliveries of production models expected to arrive this autumn. Watch the video, here:
