One surprise at Warley was the first working prototype of Hejan's second 009 locomotive, the L&B 2-4-2 "Lyn". The model was only announced a year ago and has made considerable progress.
A total of six variations are to be produced covering the original build of the locomotive in a range of liveries including plain black, L&B dark green as well as Southern olive green and the firm had mouldings for some of the alternative body styles on display.
This is a fully working model that has been tested on the track.

Heljan assures us that it runs well and there are very few tweaks required to the body design.
Delivery is still on schedule for the third quarter for 2020.
