The manufacturer offers a glimpse of decorated samples of its HYA bogie hopper wagon and IIA bogie biomass hopper wagons for review, ahead of production.

The HYA hopper wagon received features the attractive Fastline Freight branding, a defunct freight operating company. However, many of the HYA hoppers feature Fastline Freight branding still to this day, operating for GBRf alongside their own branded wagons.

A GBRf branded biomass hopper was also received for assessment.

Accurascale commented, "Both samples were a bit battered and bruised in transit as you can see by the tail lamp angle, which has resulted in some scuff marks and missing parts. The assembly on the final product will be far superior and of the same quality you have come to expect from Accurascale. Some printing is also missing from these first samples which will also be added to the final models.

Colours are said not to be finalised, and will be adjusted in several areas. It continued, "Overall though, these models captures the heft and bulk of these interesting prototypes, and gives it current models to complete its "Powering Britain" wagon series. Tweaks are said to have been prepared and fed back to the factory for correction, with production due to commence next month and delivery slated for late Q2, 2021.
