We, like you, have grown frustrated about the lack of 4mm scale lighting available for OO / EM / P4 scale layouts. There are a large quantity of HO 3.5mm scale products, but whilst these provide variety, they just don’t look right on a 4mm platform or street scene…The Legacy Skyline Lighting range is all 4mm scale, highly detailed and realistic - to be easily installed on any OO, EM or P4 layout. The range also boasts the first up-to-the minute, modern image, true-scale, height adjustable LED street lamp available in the UK!

The level of detail on this modern-image lamp is really special. From the bolts securing the lamp to the top of the pole, to the optional platform speaker - down to the detailed access door on the base! Even the pool of light from the lamp is accurately achieved - so your layout even looks the part when modelling night-time running!

The modern station lamps use “daylight white” LEDs to recreate the cool colour of modern lighting. They are also fully height adjustable - simply slide the base up or down the post to any height you need! This makes them perfect for footpath, platform, street or main road use!

As with the whole range, resistor boards are included, allowing you to connect up to 3 of the lamps to one board. They can be powered by a regulated DC power supply of between 6 and 15V. The ideal power supply is the DCCconcepts DCP-PS12.

As you can see, we didn’t just think about modern image modellers! We have also made 4mm scale gas lamps and swan-neck lamps! All are height-adjustable thanks to the base which can be removed entirely, or cut to any height you need. There’s even an additional length of brass tube included for each lamp post - just in case you need it!

The gas lamps and swan-neck lamps are available in maroon, black, green and brown and use “warm white” LEDs to give a gentler light than the modern-image versions. Of course, you can select the brightness you need for your layout by choosing the resistance value on the included boards when you connect up the power!
