BRM Cake Box Challenge 2021 - All Change at Brundall

Builder: Nathan Garratt

Based on Brundall, on the Wherry lines, the diorama represents the re-signalling of the line and closure of the signal box.  At this time of change, the signal box looks over the new equipment room (REB) and the yet to be un-bagged new signal sits opposite one of its predecessors lying in the cess (an old Hornby semaphore).  A track remodelling is underway with the first road awaiting top stone.

Some of the repurposed materials used in the diorama include; an old lollipop stick for the new signal post, a drinks can for the signal backboard and platform, a sweet wrapper for the signal cover, cotton bud for signals hoods and projector acetate for signal box window glazing.
