World of Railways expands wagon exclusives

World of Railways has increased its number of exclusive limited-edition OO gauge wagons commissions, to be produced by Rapido Trains UK.

Based on former Private Owner prototypes, the wagons carry National Coal Board black liveries with white crosses denoting forbidden access to run on the main line. Ideal for pairing with many of the recently-released industrial locomotives for OO gauge, particularly those carrying NCB liveries, the wagons are expected to arrive in stock early-2024, priced individually at £29.99.

Our National Coal Board wagons have proved popular since they were announced on July 18, so we’ve decided to increase the run to 100 of each wagon. Our best-selling individual wagon, No. 1 is to be joined by two slight alterations to the livery, to provide wagons 5 and 6. The new wagons are to be made available in a twin-pack (£57.99), with further packs joining the range. The only way to guarantee your model is to pre-order now.

You can also ‘register your interest’ without a deposit to receive advance notice of possible remaining stock at World of Railways HQ, though some may have already sold out.
