The organisers of the annual exhibition held at the NEC, Birmingham, reveal that its model railway show is to be postponed a further year to 2022.

The exhibition committee behind the Warley show has postponed its annual November exhibition for another year, explaining its reasons in an official statement.

Nigel Smith, Exhibition Manager on behalf of Warley Model Railway Club commented, "Despite the lifting of many COVID restrictions, the ongoing perception of risk means there are too many uncertainties to deliver a successful event in 2021. The exhibition team's unanimous decision was to cancel this year's exhibition and rebook for 2022 in the hope that things are more positive in the model railway world. Warley Model Railway Club and the NEC have worked together successfully for many years to deliver a quality experience for both visitors and exhibitors and we aim to maintain these standards for future events."

The organisers have booked the Warley National Model Railway Exhibition at the NEC on 26-27 November, 2022, and are hopeful that their exhibition will be able to take place then. The hope is that in 2022 the show will return "better than ever", with the exhibition committee already working on plans for its 2022 show.

Adding to the statement, the Warley organising commitee would like members of the public to keep this years' November dates of November 27 and 28 free, as plans for a small event are to be unveiled soon.
