Suitable for modellers of the early 1930s, to the present day if used as a preserved vehicle, new variants of this Foden steam wagon are to be manufactured for N and OO gauge.

Vintage Miniature Models has revealed photographs of a pre-production model for a Foden type Steam Wagon, expected to be available from October 2021 in 2mm:1ft scale, with a 4mm:1ft scale version planned in time for Christmas.

Designed by Paul Tyer of Peedie Models, models will feature optional bodies, including a Dropside Flatbed and Boxvan. Vintage Miniature Models expects the Dropside variants to be released first.

Models will be supplied in primer as shown, or painted in a set colour. Customers can also have their steam wagon painted in a chosen livery for an additional fee, however, liveries containing a registered trademark, trading name or copyright company name or logo (even if the company has ceased to exist) won't be permitted.
