This weekend: Hornby – virtual club member day

Hornby has unveiled plans for a virtual model railway day to be held this Saturday, March 25. Exclusive to members of its Collectors Club, the manufacturer is planning a "jam-packed" day, connecting model railway fans from across the world.

At present, its line-up of activities includes expert talks from some of the biggest names in the model railway community, Q&As with special guests, designers and model engineers, who will share their knowledge and insights, plus a virtual tour of the One:One collection.

Locomotive Services Ltd's site adjacent to Hornby Hobbies in Margate sees a rotation of locomotives and rolling stock through its doors, inspiring Hornby's One:One Collection. 37190 posed for the camera upon our last visit.

Hornby has also promised a preview of new releases and model updates, alongside competitions and prizes. Taking place on Saturday, March 25, the virtual event is free, but available only to Hornby Collector Club Members.
