Revolution upscales Ecofret intermodal to 00

Revolution Trains has confirmed the upscaling its forthcoming VTG Ecofret Wagon to 00 gauge, 1:76 scale. Currently in service with DB Cargo, Freightliner, and GBRf, the wagons can be seen in DB red, Freightliner green, GBRf blue, and VTG dark blue.

Revolution will be offering both twin and triple sets and will feature a metal spine for weight with moulded deck and spigot details.  As is prototypical, the spigots on the centre car – in the 20’ position – can be rotated out of use to give added flexibility.

Order books are expected to open in early 2020. Development of the previously-announced N gauge models is also well underway.
