Howard Smith examines three new hopper wagon models from Peco of those used by the Snailbeach District Railway.

Presented with three new OO9 gauge wagons for review from Peco, it's time for a 'quickview' video ahead of the review for the September 2022 issue of BRM.

Many a time we've seen a new RTR locomotive, and suggested it would encourage modellers to build a model railway to suit, but this time, it's rolling stock that might change the trend. The Snailbeach District Railway offers a highly-modellable area for its scenery. Lead ore extraction was its reason for existing, and Peco's latest rolling stock for OO9 depicts the ore's method of transport from the region, along the line, as used until the final steam locomotives were withdrawn from service in 1947.
