Designed as an aid to scratch-building, these new packs from the laser-cut scenic accessory specialist can be used to create custom buildings.
New packs of laser-cut industrial warehouse apertures and accessories have joined the growing range of products from Scale Model Scenery (SMS).
Roller shutter doors covering doorways, single and double vehicle access openings join the range, with industrial depot windows, too. Manufactured from precision laser-cut board, the new accessories are designed to enhance your card models, upgrade your current layout buildings, or be used as an aid to scratch-building.
Also joining the SMS range this month are kits to make four pallet cages, a sliding security gate kit and printed early station signs to be cut and affixed to your station buildings. The small kits only require a few minutes each to assemble with a PVA type adhesive and photographic ste-by-step instructions are included with each.
Its roller shutter doors are suitable for the 1970s to present era, with its depot windows spanning the 1930s to present era. For more details and current pricing on these new kits, visit the Scale Model Scenery website.
The laser-cut parts are very intricate, particularly its Sliding Security Gate (LX101-OO) which requires careful handling to remove it from the fret.
