The layouts featured have been selected by RMweb editor, Andy York, and are so good that you can easily mistake them for the real thing. Each quarter of the puzzle captures fine detail to help you complete the stunning scenes with the atmosphere of the era.

The London, Midland and Scottish Railway is represented by John Holden's magnificent 'Liverpool Lime Street' with an express from Euston hauled, appropriately, by 6247 'City of Liverpool' as 5541 'Duke of Sutherland' departs through the dark cutting.

The Great Western mainline to the West of England sees a Castle class 4-6-0 steaming through the idyllic early-1930s Vale Scene at Pendon museum with its train of chocolate and cream carriages as a GWR-owned bus approaches the skew bridge over the chalk stream.

The Southern Railway is marked by a Bulleid West Country pacific 21C101 'Exeter' operating a local service on an exchange basis through Robert Dudley-Cooke's layout, 'Kingstorre', which evokes famous scenes at Dawlish in Devon.

The London & North Eastern Railway is famed for its streamlined A4 pacific locomotives which included 4492 'Dominion of New Zealand' as shown in this O Gauge model at John Ryan's 'Castle Cross' terminus with its grand overall roof; the racing thoroughbred does show signs of hard work on its paintwork on arrival with its Pullman service from Newcastle whilst the observation car of the Down 'Coronation' service sits in the adjacent platform.

This jigsaw will give hours of pleasure whilst being appealing enough to frame and put on the wall of your railway den on completion.

Each puzzle has a beautiful silk finish, giving optimum sheen without the glare of a high gloss finish. They are manufactured in the UK using quality 1.75mm luxury recycled board. The finished puzzle size is 69cm x 48cm. They sell for £29.99 plus P&P.
