The latest kits from Peco include Victorian houses in N and wagons in 7mm scale and OO.

Peco has had a very busy start to 2025, with the release of numerous new kits, which will be in stockists now, ready for modellers to kick start their 2025.

Semi-detached Victorian Houses – coming soon in N gauge

Following hot on the heels of the OO range, which was announced last year, Peco’s Victorian Semi-detached houses are now on sale in N gauge.

Available as either low-relief fronts, low-relief backs, or the full complete house, these laser-cut kits come with front and side pavements, depending on the kit.

A semi-detached brick house typical of the Victorian period in Britain, and still very much around today, these new kits will be a welcomed addition for the N gauge modellers and can easily be combined to create terrace houses for a town scene.

The texture of the laser-cut surface replicates the brick courses and slate and the finished kit requires a footprint of 87mm x 87mm. Prices are yet to be confirmed.

PC13 Parkside OO/4mm scale LNER Bulk Grain Van (pictured above)

This is a new kit produced from brand-new tooling. The original was a popular kit and has been elevated further to a high standard. Features include fine moulding details, brass bearings, metal wheels and NEM coupler pockets, plus a set of waterslide decals for both LNER and BR eras.

Around 100 of these vans were built by the LNER between 1921 and 1936 for the transportation of grain, initially from the Port of Hull. In time their use became more widespread, often finding work transporting barley from Lincolnshire to the maltings in Scotland. The remaining wagons were retired in the mid-1970s.

Priced at £18.95, the new wagon kits are available now from stockists.

Great Little Trains NG7 GVT Open Wagons and V-Skip Side Tip Wagons

Joining Peco’s NG7 range are these new laser-cut wooden kits. Both kits include three wagons.

The GVT 4-wheel narrow gauge open wagons can be found at many industrial locations and the kits include metal wheels, brass bearings and plastic couplings, priced at £39.95.

The laser-cut wagon kit of a 4-wheel narrow gauge V-Skip wagons is priced at £34.95 and features metal disk wheels that run freely in brass bearings.

The tipper body can be left loose to enable it to tip prototypically and the kit contains plastic tension-lock couplings and NEM pockets.
