If you loved the classic Ealing comedy, The Ladykillers, the house Mrs Wilberforce lived in is now available in several scales.

Tom Marshall tells us, "The Ladykillers is one of my favourite films as I grew up watching the Ealing comedies, and this film was influential upon dark comedy that followed it.  The house is a character in itself, which moves as the trains pass by.

"When I was asked by Dawn Quest of Model Railway Quest to design Mrs Wilberforce's house, I began by rewatching the film and collating a number of screenshots.  I could then piece together a basic structure in CAD which I would gradually refine.  Very little of the rear of the building is visible on screen, so there are sections where I was forced to use artistic license, but for the front of the building I was able to count bricks and gauge the heights of windows and the main features of the building.  I built the walls brick by brick, which allowed me to add subsidence and cracks.  The left-hand side of the building is propped up, and the side wall has turned to a pile of rubble."

To allow easy addition of glazing, interiors and lighting. the interior 3D printing supports have been designed to be easily snipped away, resulting in a strong hollow structure.

The building is available in T Gauge (1:450), Z Gauge (1:220), US N Gauge (1:160), N Gauge (1:148), TT Scale (1:120), British TT3 (1:101.6), HO Gauge (1:87), OO Gauge (1:76). The model is available either unpainted, or handpainted in full colour.
