The London Festival of Railway Modelling is back for 2022 and is looking set to be bigger and better than ever, with over 40 layouts confirmed to appear.
Making a welcome return to Alexandra Palace, the popular exhibition will take place across the weekend of March 19-20th, 2022, providing a perfect opportunity for railway modelling fans to view some of the country’s best layouts.
Hand-picked by the Model Railway Club, the list features layouts covering a wide range of scales and gauges from the UK, Europe and further afield. Some big exhibition favourites are attending, as well as some layouts that have been seen at a show before, plus a number that have appeared in the pages of BRM magazine over the years.
Andy York, BRM photographer and RMweb editor, had this to say: “The London Festival of Railway Modelling features, as ever, a superb range of layouts from the local interest treats of Copenhagen Fields and Rossiter Rise through to continental scenes, magnificent vintage model, the finest O gauge stock such as that seen on Scout Green, finescale excellence in 2FS at one end of the scale through to garden railways with the Whiteleaf railway. There really is something for everyone from the family visitor through to the most serious ends of the hobby.”
Like previous years, the show will also offer a vast array of specialist retailers and manufacturers in attendance, as well as numerous clubs and societies.
You can pre-book tickets by clicking here. BRM subscribers pay just £12 if pre-booked, plus all pre-booked ticket holders can access the show 30-minutes before everyone else.
