The Stoke-on-Trent model shop offers customers exclusive-liveried Dapol seven-plank wagons in three scales.
The Hobby Goblin has commissioned a private owner coal wagon, from Dapol, in N, OO and O gauges. The seven-plank wagon with the 'Sneyd, Burslem' (Stoke-on-Trent) artwork is available to purchase directly from the retailer.
Sneyd Colliery, Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent is one of the oldest colliery sites in the district and, throughout the years, forward-looking management kept pace with modern trends in mining practice, with the result that Sneyd Colliery became one of the most modern collieries in North Staffordshire between the two World Wars. Examples of this included the automatic decking plant and the double chain gate stokers at the boilers, both examples the first of their kind in the district.
