First look: Cavalex Models' OO gauge TEA

Model wagon manufacturing specialist, Cavalex has shared photographs of updated samples of its 4mm:1ft scale (OO gauge) TEA bogie tank wagons. Alex Perkins of Cavalex said "From first inspection, we are very pleased with how the models are looking."

The manufacturer is to now conduct a review of both samples and report changes if required back to the factory, ahead of the arrival of painted samples which will be produced in the next few months. Tooling modifications have been undertaken to allow two versions of TEAs – as built and as running now. These variations between the two models include the end cap pipework, end plates on the chassis, and the hazardous information board on the side of the wagon.
