Decorated samples of BRCW Class 104 DMUs arrive

As always, these are only initial pre-production deco samples subject to modification and improvement (some with missing parts), but they offer a teaser of how these hotly anticipated models will look. So far, Heljan has received two BR Green sets and a BR Blue 'Blackpool' 3-car set, but the other samples are expected to follow soon. 

According to Heljan, the '104s' are among the most complex models the model maker has ever developed, with a huge range of detail variations to cab ends, roofs, interiors, body details and more.

• Thin body shells with fine flush glazing 
• 2x types of sprung buffers
• LMR or ER cab footsteps

• Extensive underframe/engine detail
• Fully detailed interiors with First/Second Class seating 
• Easy-to-remove bodies with retaining magnets 
• Etched metal bogie swing links, lamp irons and water pipes
• Separately fitted roof vents (or blanking plates) 
• 2-car ER Power-Trailer or NSE Power Twin options
