Celebratory Coronation headboards

Sankey Scenics has produced 17 different headboards in celebration of the coronation of King Charles III on May 6. Available in two packs for 4mm:1ft (OO gauge) and 7mm:1ft (O gauge) modellers as a special item until mid-May, 2023, only, these can be affixed to the front of trains with a low-tack adhesive for a semi-permanent fixture.

The accessory manufacturer commented, "quick and easy to use, these headboards allow you to mark this special event on your railway in style!

"During the golden age of named trains in 1950s, some carried special headboards to celebrate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953. Now, seventy years on, your model locomotives can carry such headboards to mark the Coronation of King Charles III."

Printed on 240gsm matt photographic card, the 4mm:1ft/OO gauge A6 sheet retails at £3.50, the 7mm:1ft/O gauge A5 sheet at £4.75.
