Cavalex Class 60 - project update

Expected to be arriving with retailers in early February 2025, with the first shipment from China due imminently, Cavalex’s new OO Class 60 is almost here.

Due to the volume of orders received, and to ensure that customers received models before the factory breaks for Chinese New Year, Cavalex has taken the decision to ship over the models from the production line that have been completed to date.

With seven production versions of the Class 60 to replicate each individual prototype locomotive, the factory has been working overtime to complete the project.

The first shipment arriving imminently contains the following models, both DCC ready and DCC sound fitted:

• 60001 - Steadfast
• 60010 - DB Cargo (both branded and de-branded versions)
• 60028 - Cappagh Blue
• 60029 - DCR Grey (Key Model World exclusive)
• 60062 - Steel on Steel (Rails of Sheffield exclusive)
• 60076 - Colas
• 60087 - GBRF

The remainder of the models will arrive mid to late-Q2 2025.
