Last week at The Engine House on the Severn Valley Railway we took a look at what the pop-up shops and new-style concession operations are achieving for the Hornby Group.
Within the hobby, we tend to focus on the high end of Hornby's model railway output despite but that's just one element within the Hornby Hobbies group.
The concession in The Engine House, one of 55 now operational, opened a couple of weeks ago appears to have produced good sales volume during the half-term week. The Engine House staff were quite delighted with the uplift in takings that they had.
