FEBEX 2020 Alton Model Railway Show

The show opens on Saturday at 10.30 am and closes at 5.00 pm. On Sunday it opens at 10.30 am and closes at 4.00 pm. There will be layouts in all scales, both standard and narrow gauges including: Aldbourne - 009, Barrow Street - 7mm, Bicsdale - 4mm, Burlish Road - 7mm, Chalfont - Gauge 3, Gilkerkicker Loop - American 2mm, Leicester Belgrave Road - 4mm, Much Merkle - 4mm, Portwenn - 7mm, Project Iraq 2003 - Multi scale, Sidmouth - P4, Stodden Hundred - 7mm, Teignford - 3mm, Winterley Junction - 4mm. The special feature for this years show will be presentations and demonstrations on constructing model buildings from plastic and cardboard kits (both straight from the box and also with added detail), and there will also be scratch-building using plasticard and scale lumber. These demonstrations will take place throughout both days of the exhibition, and the presenters are happy to answer any questions you may have. Having been inspired by the demonstrations, there are several traders at the show that can provide all your modelling needs, and requirements. Refreshments will be available throughout both days in Eggars School refectory. Please follow the signs, or ask a steward for directions. For visitors coming to the show by train, there will be the usual free preserved bus service. Operating from Alton station via the town centre (Alton Model Centre) and the exhibition.
